SPIETH & KRUG : THE ORIGINAL BOZEMAN BREWERY

When Jim and Erik came to us with their concept for a new downtown brewery, it with both simple and brilliant. Pay tribute to the original Bozeman brewery, started by by two German immigrants, Jacob Spieth and Charles Krug. The Spieth and Krug Brewery, also known as "Union Hall" and "Maxey Block" was established in 1867 in Bozeman, Montana.

We loved the concept of honoring the history and entrepreneurial spirit of Bozeman. The characters in this town may be wildly different, but we all bring something to the table. Especially when there’s beer at that table. We illustrated their flagship characters with this premise in mind.

Beer has always been a great reason for people to get together. Union Hall Brewery’s motto is “In beer we trust”. We are steadfast in this belief and everyone is welcome here- from blue collar workers, executives in three piece suits, cowboys and cowgirls, ski bums and the traveler. Beer is a common ground; an equalizer, the universal language- we all speak beer.
